Croatia Looking for Revenge as they Eye up Final

CroatiaCroatia have set up a semi-final meeting with hosts Denmark at the European Handball Championships after beating Poland last night 31-28, and Slavko Goluža’s men will be looking for revenge…

Denmark knocked Croatia out of the World Championships in Barcelona in the semi-final last year, and Croatia will be hoping that history does not repeat itself when the two sides meet on Friday night. Coach Goluža was playing it down however.

“The Danes are waiting for us, they are excellent, and its also important that they had an easier draw than us. The recipe is simple, we will turn everything on its head and see what happens,” said Croatia’s coach, adding that for such a small nation Croatia has already achieved wonders to get where they have.
