ZAGREB, 23 June (Hina) – The Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) has launched a last-minute booking campaign titled “Croatia worth every second of your time,” which will run across seven European markets, the HTZ announced on Tuesday.
These markets are Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Czechia, Poland and Slovakia.
The campaign focuses on promoting Croatia’s natural scenery, historical and cultural heritage and local cuisine, highlighting that many nature parks, religious sites, museums, and interpretation centres in Croatia are free of charge or significantly cheaper than similar attractions in competing destinations.
Featured sites include Medvednica Nature Park, Lake Bajer in Fužine, Diocletian’s Palace, the Sea Organ and Sun Salutation in Zadar, the Baška Glagolitic Trail, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Dubrovnik, as well as events such as Zagreb Classic and the Rab Fjera festival, which are free of charge.
The campaign also highlights affordable attractions such as the Kamačnik Canyon, Zeleni Vir and Vražji Prolaz, the Sošice Visitor Centre in Žumberak, the Faust Vrančić Memorial Centre on the island of Prvić, Veliki Tabor Castle, and tours of Vransko Lake Nature Park, many of which cost under €10.

It also promotes local and affordable food and drink experiences in smaller coastal and inland towns, including traditional taverns, summer cinemas, and fishing nights where visitors can sample seafood and local dishes at promotional prices.
The campaign will run across online and print channels and will also include influencer trips to Split, Zadar, Šibenik, Dubrovnik, Zagreb, and Pula, showcasing Croatia as an affordable destination for price-conscious travellers.
Kristjan Staničić, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, said that the campaign’s messages are fully tailored to market needs and target travellers who are still deciding on their holiday destination, with a particular focus on the last-minute booking period in July and August.
