Croatia jumps 3 places in latest FIFA Rankings 

Croatia thrash Malta 6-1 in penultimate World Cup qualifier

Croatia has jumped three places in the latest FIFA Rankings which were released today. 

Two wins this month has help Zlatko Dalić’s World Cup-bound side to jump to 15th on the FIFA Rankings, up from 18th last month. 

Croatia recorded wins this month over Malta (7:1) and Russia (1:0) which saw them win Group H and qualify for Qatar. 

Belgium maintained their no.1 rankings, with Brazil close behind in second place. France, England and Argentina were also in the top five.

Euro champions Italy, who will havee to go through the play-offs to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, dropped out of the top five.
