Croatia Jumps 12 Places in FIFA Rankings

Croatia has jumped 12 places in the latest FIFA Rankings released today…

With three tournaments completed in the last month – Euro, Copa America Centenario & OFC Nations Cup – there have been a number of changes in the new FIFA rankings.

Croatia’s efforts at Euro 2016 in France, where they beat Turkey and Spain, and drew with the Czech Republic, have helped them jump from 27th place last month to now 15th in the world. Other big movers included Iceland, who also jumped 12 spots to 22nd. Wales collected the most points in the month (291) and are ranked 11th.

European champions Portugal moved to 6th spot, whilst finalists France moved up 10 places to 7th in the world. Argentina are still number one in the world, followed by Belgium, Colombia and Germany.
