Croatia in top 5 of final FIFA rankings for 2018

20 December 2018 – The final FIFA rankings of 2018 have been revealed on Thursday, with World Cup runners-up Croatia finishing the year in the top five. 

Zlatko Dalić’s team have finished 2018 in fourth place in the world. 

Belgium ended the year in number one place with World Cup winners France in second place. 

Brazil, who has been unbeaten since the World Cup without conceding a goal, finished 42 points above Croatia. 

England finished one place behind Croatia with Portugal, Uruguay, Switzerland, Spain and Denmark completing the top 10.

Argentina finished the year outside the top 10 while Germany ended in 16th place, one of the worst in their history.
