Croatia Gets its First Egg Vending Machine

Croatia’s first egg vending machine was launched on Monday in the city of Varaždin, with locals able to now help themselves to fresh farm eggs from the family business of Zvonko Šincek but throwing either coins or cash in the high-tech machine. Varaždin Council head Predrag Štromar, who donated 12,000 kuna towards the machine, said that it was the local council’s aim to keep people employed in agriculutre businesses and its focus was on family run businesses. The vending machine has a capacity to hold 600 eggs, with Šincek making sure it is full everyday.
