ZAGREB, 27 October 2020 – German airline Lufthansa has returned its service between the Croatian capital Zagreb and Munich, Croatian Aviation reports.

Lufthansa returned the Munich – Zagreb service on October 24th, which was the first time since it flew between the two cities since the route was canceled at the start of the outbreak of the pandemic.

Lufthansa suspended traffic to Croatian airports of Pula, Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik after summer and will have one route to Croatia in its winter flight schedule, between Munich and Zagreb.

Lufthansa offers daily flights on the Munich – Zagreb service in its reservation system, which enables passengers from Zagreb to make numerous connections via Munich to destinations in Europe and the world.

Two daily flights scheduled on November 1st, 3rd and 8th

Lufthansa will use smaller capacity aircraft on this route, a CRJ900, which can carry up to 90 passengers. Lufthansa earlier canceled the Frankfurt – Zagreb route and has not operated it since last winter. The first flight has been scheduled for spring 2021.
