Croatia Draws Canada in Davis Cup

Croatia has drawn Canada in the 2018 Davis Cup World Group after the draw was made in London on Wednesday.

Croatia will host Canada in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group on 2-4 February 2018 as the best teams in the world fight it out.

Croatia qualified for the World Group last weekend when they defeated Colombia 3-1 thanks largely to Marin Cilic who won all the three matches he took part in.

“It is an attractive draw, but a difficult one for us,” Croatia’s coach Zeljko Krajan said.

World No.11 and last year’s Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic is Canada’s No.1 player.

Japan v Italy
Spain v Great Britain
Australia v Germany
Kazakhstan v Switzerland
Croatia v Canada
Serbia v USA
Hungary v Belgium

The winner of the Croatia v Canada clash will play the winner of the Kazakhstan v Switzerland tie on 6-8 April 2018.
