Croatia Destroys New Zealand At World Water Polo Champs In Spain

The Croatian men’s water polo team have backed up their history-making 19-0 win over South Africa with a 21:4 thrashing over New Zealand to reach the quarter-final at the World Water Polo Championship in Barcelona, Spain on Sunday. Coach Ivica Tucak gave game time to those players who had not had much of a chance thus far at the tournament as they treated the match as a ‘training run’ on Sunday. Croatia will now face either Australia or Germany for a place in the semi-final.
