Croatia Coach Releases Six Players Back to Europe Ahead of Mexico Clash in Dallas

Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic has released six players after last night’s 2-0 loss to Peru in Miami.

The players will return to their clubs and miss Croatia’s final U.S. tour match against Mexico in Dallas on Tuesday.

The players who will leave the squad after an agreement with their clubs and Dalic and return to Europe are Danijel Subašić (Monaco), Luka Modrić (Real Madrid), Mario Mandžukić (Juventus), Ivan Perišić and Marcelo Brozović (Inter) and Nikola Kalinić (Milan).

Dalic will give aim to give the rest of the squad who didn’t feature in last night’s disappointing loss some game time against Mexico. Players like Mateo Kovacic, Marko Pjaca, Marko Rog and Andrej Kramaric are expected to start on Tuesday.

That match will be played at the AT&T stadium on 27 March 2018 at 9 pm local time.
