Croatia Climb Up FIFA Rankings Again

croatiaNew coach Niko Kovač has helped Croatia jump two places in the latest FIFA rankings. Croatia had dropped from 4th in the world to 18th under sacked coach Igor Štimac, but Croatia’s win against Iceland in the World Cup qualifiers this month has seen a jump up the ladder. Croatia sits now in 16th spot in the rankings which were released today with 971 points. World and European champions Spain are still number one, followed by Germany, Argentina and Columbia. World Cup hosts Brazil are in 10th position, whilst England drop out of the top 10.
