Croatia Announce Home Venue for Euro 2016 Clash with Italy

MSThe Croatian football federation announced on Thursday that Croatia’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Italy would be at Zagreb’s Maksimir stadium..

Niko Kovač will take on Italy in Zagreb on 12 June with kick-off at 20:45.

Croatia face Norway next in Euro 2016 qualifying on 28 March also at Zagreb’s Maksimir stadium. Croatia top Group H with Italy. Both sides currently have 10 points after 4 matches. The last time the two sides met was in Croatia was in Split in 1995 when the final score was 1-1. The last time the two sides played however was in November, when crowd trouble from Croatian fans stopped the match for 10 minutes.
