SPLIT, 27 June 2021 – Croatia Airlines has launched a new summer service between Prague in the Czech Republic and the Croatian coastal city of Split.

The service, which began last night, will operate every Saturday until the middle of September, the airline said.

“By introducing direct international flights between Prague and Split, Czech tourists are offered an even better choice of travel to the Croatian part of the Mediterranean and the natural, cultural and historical beauties of the Republic of Croatia are even closer,” said Slaven Žabo, director of commercial affairs.

All passengers on last night’s first return flight who landed at Split Airport at 10:45 pm, were gifted a voucher in the amount of 30 euros, which can be used when buying a ticket for the next trip with Croatia Airlines.

Last night our first flight on the route Split – Prague – Split was welcomed at Prague Airport. We are very happy to be connecting these two cities, offering an even better mode of travel to both Croatian and Czech tourists this Summer season.”

In the period from June to September this year, Croatia Airlines is planning flights from Croatia to 18 European capitals and 19 airports, in which passengers, thanks to cooperation with partners from the Star Alliance and other airlines, will be offered the possibility of connecting flights to destinations around the world, reads the statement.
