Croat Leads Race for “The Best Job Around the World!”

screenshotA Croatian is leading the race to land what is being labelled as the “The Best Job Around the World!”. Traveller Tomislav Perko is the only Croatian to apply for the position of Jauntaroo’s Chief World Explorer, and as it stands is ahead on votes.

Travel-planning aid and self-proclaimed “vacation matchmaker” website Jauntaroo is looking for a Chief World Explorer — aka the “best job around the world”.  So what does it entail.

“We have begun the search for our Chief World Explorer who will travel the globe for one year visiting destinations, sharing experiences and creating content for Jauntaroo while earning a salary of $100,000.00!,” writes Jauntaroo, who have given perspective applicants until 15 September to upload a 60 second video explaining why they are the best person for the job.

Perko, who is a self-confessed globetrotter and is currently in Peru, was ahead as of this morning in voting out of thousands of videos from all over the world. Juantaroo will narrow down the applicants based on votes and whisk 5 lucky applicants away for an interview. You can check out Tomislav’s application and see if he is still leading here.
