FIFA has given football fans the chance to come up with a slogan which will grace the Croatian football team’s bus at the FIFA World Cup in Russia this summer.

FIFA’s ‘Be There’ with Hyundai Contest is a chance for fans to share their passion for their team, including Croatia, and be in to win a trip to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

“Create an original and meaningful slogan worthy of being displayed on the official team bus for your favourite participating nation. The winning submissions will be painted on the official team bus for each of the 32 nations competing in Russia,” FIFA said.

The deadline to submit your slogans is 10:00 (CET) on 28 February 2018 via the official website.

Voting will then be open from 16 April – 4 May 2018 with the winning slogan for each nation announced on 14 May 2018.

The winning slogan for the EURO 2016 competition was ‘Nova vatra, staro mjesto, ista nada’ (New fire, old place, same hopes) which had references to the 1998 Croatian side.

The slogan was selected out of a shortlist of 3, which also included ‘Srce. Ponos.’ (Heart. Pride) and ‘Jedan tim, jedan cilj, Hrvatska iznad svih!’ (One team, one goal, Croatia above everyone).

Croatia kicks off the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia against Nigeria on 16 June, followed by matches against Argentina (21.06) and Iceland (26.06).
