Che Guevara’s Daughter In Zagreb

Just one week after it was announced that famous American director Oliver Stone would be at the 6th Subversive Film Festival in Zagreb, three more guests have been announced.

Aleida Guevara, eldest daughter of Argentine Marxist revolutionary Ernesto “Che” Guevara, will arrive in Zagreb for the festival which will be held in the Croatian from 4-18 May. Aleida (52) is a doctor, and like her father a Marxist and has been advocating for human rights and debt relief for developing nations.

The Subversive Film Festival is especially popular because of its panels and public lectures that have hosted many prominent intellectuals. The festival deals with cinemas of post-colonial countries, social changes, and social inequality.

Bolivia’s Vice President Alvaro Garcia Linera and Greek left-wing parliament member Alexis Tsipras will also be in Zagreb as part of the festival.
