NYON, 31 August 2020 – Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb learned their opponents in the next round of Champions League qualifying when the draw was made on Monday in Nyon.

Dinamo Zagreb, who won a thriller on penalties against CRF Cluj last week in the second round of Champions League qualifying, have been drawn to face Hungarian club Ferencvaros in the third round.

The third round qualifying matches will be played on 15 and 16 September. Dinamo Zagreb will have to travel to Hungary as they were drawn as the away team.

If Dinamo wins the match they will advance to the play-off for a spot in the group stages of the Champions League.

Dinamo was one of the seeded teams for today’s draw and will remain seeded if they should advance to the play-offs.

If Dinamo does not manage to win the tie, they will join the UEFA Europa League play-offs or group stage (depending on results).
