‘Buy Croatia’- 50 Czech Travel Agents Descend on Croatia’s Kvarner Gulf

Fifty Czech travel agents have arrived in Croatia’s Kvarner Gulf on the northern Adriatic coast as part of the ‘Buy Croatia’ initative organised by the Croatian National Tourist Board.
The aim of ‘Buy Croatia’ is to introduce and familiarise foreign travel agents with destinations in Croatia which they offer in their agencies, and to also allow agents to meet tour operators they deal with in person on the ground in Croatia. The first stop on the trip for the Czech travel agents, who arrived by bus from Prague, was the popular village of Fužine. The group have been impressed with what they have seen thus far and will now head off to the island of Krk.
“The clear blue sea is what brings the Czechs to your Adriatic coast. Untouched nature, friendly hosts and a similar culture. That is the recipe,” one agent told local television Nova TV. (photo via: Croatian Tourist Board)
