Burger Bar wins blind tasting comp at Zagreb Burger Festival

Burger Bar’s prime bacon butter burger has won the blind tasting competition at the Zagreb Burger Festival which is currently taking place in the capital. 

Zagreb Burger Festival powered by TABASCO® is taking place on Strossmayer Square and Burger Bar in Zagreb has taken out the blind test competition. 

All 20 burger stands at the festival submitted one burger each for blind tasting. More than 10 gastro journalists and editors tried each burger, rating it for quality of meat, sauces and overall impressions with Burger Bar’s prime bacon butter burger taking the no.1 spot. Burger is located at Zagreb’s Velesajam.

In second place was Reshetka’s Divlji Đuro burger.

1. Burger bar Zagreb – Prime Bacon Butter Burger 
2. Reshetka Hrvatska – Divlji Đuro 
3. Submarine Burger – Obelix

Burger maestros from Zagreb, Ljubljana, Osijek and Rijeka have been cooking at this year’s festival. Visitors are able to try burgers from popular chef Mate Janković, The Garden Bar&Kitchen, Good Food, Lars&Sven, Rougemarin, Raclette Burgers&Fries, Bistro Grill Deno, Burger bar, Maredo Grill, El Toro, Submarine Burger, Kascheta, BarBaQ, Reshetka by Đurina Hiža, Barcode Mitra, Brewbites, Torpedo burger, American bar Dollar, Špiro and Bread Club.

Zagreb Burger Festival runs until 22 September.
