The 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest was held at Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle Arena, where Bulgarian representative DARA claimed victory with the song “Bangaranga”.

The Bulgarian singer is known for hits including “Thunder”, “Call Me” and “Mr. Rover”, while her songs and music videos have accumulated more than 80 million streams and views. She also served as a mentor on The Voice of Bulgaria and released the album ADHDARA in 2025, marking a significant step towards reaching a wider international audience.

Croatia was represented by LELEK with the song “Andromeda”, finishing in 15th place in the final standings.

A total of 25 countries competed in this year’s final. The contest was hosted in Austria following last year’s victory by JJ with the song “Wasted Love” at the competition in Basel.

Croatian viewers awarded their highest public vote score of 12 points to Serbia during the final. Italy received 10 points from Croatia, while Albania received eight.

Among the other countries receiving points from Croatian viewers were Bulgaria with seven points, Moldova with six, Romania with five, Australia with four, Greece with three, Finland with two and Ukraine with one point.

Audience votes formed part of the overall Eurovision result, which combines public voting with scores awarded by national juries.

Croatia’s national jury also awarded its maximum 12 points to Serbia, while the Serbian jury did not award any points to Croatia.
