Building Run-Up Held For First Time In Croatia

Croatia’s answer to the Empire State Building Run-Up was run for the first time in the country on Saturday. A popular concept that has taken off around the world, where runners and walkers climb stairs from a buildings basement to its top, was held in Zagreb at the Zagrepcanka building.

Over 250 runners climbed 512 stairs (25 floors) with 26-year-old Igor Ermakora winning the race in 2.54 minutes Paula Vrdoljak won the women’s section.
