Brundanje – Craft, Rock & Street Food Festival returns this month

This June, music and beer lovers in Zagreb are in for a treat as Brundanje – Craft, Rock & Street Food Festival returns for its 2025 edition.

Set in the courtyard of Pivovara Medvedgrad, this two-day open-air event promises a vibrant mix of legendary rock acts, craft beer, and gourmet street food to kickstart the summer in style.

The festival takes place on 27 and 28 June, with a powerful line-up featuring some of Croatia’s most iconic rock artists. Friday opens with a bang as Prljavo kazalište’s Bodalec and Houra reunite on stage for a two-hour set of timeless hits. Warming up the crowd beforehand will be Donkey Hot, the energetic Zagreb rock outfit led by Vili Gobac.

Saturday keeps the energy high with performances from the high-octane M.O.R.T., followed by Edo Maajka and the legendary Jura Stublić & Film. The night ends on a thrilling note with the long-awaited return of Kawasaki 3P, whose live shows are always packed with attitude and adrenaline.

Prljavo kazalište

A rock festival wouldn’t be complete without great beer, and Brundanje certainly delivers. Attendees can sample more than ten varieties of craft beer, including fan favourites such as Zlatni Medvjed, Fakin IPA, Baltazar, and the iconic Grička vještica. Even better – all beers will be priced at just €3.50. Two brand-new brews will also be unveiled exclusively at the festival.

Kawasaki 3P

Those who prefer a different tipple can enjoy cocktails and a special gin & tonic offering from the award-winning Old Pilot’s Gin.

Three top street food vendors will be on hand to feed festivalgoers. Picnic from Zadar is arriving with its signature silver food truck and award-winning creations. Živa Vatra will be firing up fresh pizzas right before your eyes, while The M Brothers are ready to impress with juicy burgers and meat specialities that are sure to have you coming back for seconds.

Donkey Hot

Each evening begins with something a little different – guided tours of Pivovara Medvedgrad led by the charismatic Purgerica, Josipa Šiklić. Starting at 18:30 on Friday and 18:00 on Saturday, visitors will get an inside look at the brewery and hear the story behind beers like Grička vještica.

Tickets & Info

Tickets are on sale now for €25 per day, available until 25 June via www.entrio.hr. From 26 June, the price increases to €30 per day, so early booking is advised. Children aged 12 and under can attend for free when accompanied by an adult.

Gates open at 17:00, and a free parking area is available next to the brewery. The festival operates a cashless system, accepting all major cards for purchases.
