British Airways has confirmed it will suspend its service between London Heathrow and Zagreb for the upcoming 2025–26 winter season.

British Airways confirmed the news to EX-YU Aviation.

The seasonal break will begin on 26 October 2025 and continue until 28 March 2026, with ticket sales for the route already discontinued.

The airline had planned to operate four weekly return flights between the two capitals during the winter months. Instead, it will now resume seasonal summer operations from 29 March 2026.

British Airways has maintained a year-round service between London and Zagreb since it relaunched the route in December 2012, following a ten-year absence.

Despite this development, Zagreb will retain its air links to London. Croatia Airlines will continue to operate three weekly flights to Heathrow, while Ryanair will offer ten weekly services to London Stansted, EX-YU Aviation writes.

This move also reflects a broader shift in British Airways’ regional strategy.

British Airways is currently focusing on strengthening operations in key European cities and growing its long-haul network, with particular emphasis on destinations in North America and Asia.
