Legendary Brazilian defender Marcos Evangelista de Morais Cafu, better known as just Cafu, has named Croatia’s Davor Šuker on his list of the 5 greatest footballers from the rest of the world…

Speaking to Esporte Ponto Final, Cafu, who played in 3 World Cup finals and won 2 World Cups (1994, 2002), Cafu named his greatest 5 non-Brazilian players in history. Along with the former Croatia and Real Madrid star, were Di Stefano, Marco Van Basten, Paolo Maldini, and Franco Baresi.

“Šuker was that type of player that if you blinked in front of him he would score. He needs no presentation, he really was a top scorer,” Cafu said.
