Boban: Kovacic Can Become Better Than I was In Milan

Former Dinamo Zagreb and AC Milan legend Zvonimir Boban says that Inter Milan’s new signing, Croatian teenage star Mateo Kovacic, could turn out to be a bigger star than he was when he was in Milan.


Boban, speaking to Sky Sport Italia, said that the future looks good for Kovacic, and that he has the potential to become a better player than he was. “Inter has done a great job. I did not expect it and I was surprised when I heard the news. Mateo is a great professional and a serious guy. He is very talented. I think he has the potential to become a better player than I was,” said Boban about the 18-year-old

Boban was part of a golden generation at AC Milan, winning 4 Serie A titles and the Champions League.
