From 8–11 May 2025, the coastal town of Biograd na Moru will become the heart of one of the most significant cultural and historical celebrations in modern Croatian history – the 1,100th anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom.

Over four days, Biograd will honour the birth of the Croatian state through a dynamic programme that combines tradition, art, gastronomy, music, and community spirit.

The event aims to revive the spirit of royal times and proudly showcase Croatia’s rich heritage.

A Royal Kick-Off

The celebration begins on Thursday, 8 May, with the screening of the documentary Kralj Tomislav, transporting viewers back to the early days of the Croatian Kingdom and its first king.
