A special event is set to take place at the Pickleball Klub 002 in Zagreb on Sunday, 15 June.

The event, titled “Pickleball Igrajmo s Razlogom,” aims to promote the growing sport of pickleball while raising funds for a meaningful cause—supporting children with cancer in Croatia.

The event features professional Croatian pickleball player Domenika Turković. It promises a fun-filled day for players of all levels at the club’s facilities on Veslačka ul. 26A, Zagreb.

The programme includes an introductory presentation and welcome session, followed by two courts dedicated to beginner players and two courts for more experienced players competing in the Round Robin matches.

Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned player, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Participation is open to all, with various registration options available.

Individual entries are priced at 20 EUR, while the Round Robin (for experienced players) costs 15 EUR. Family registration is 10 EUR, and children can join for just 5 EUR.

For groups, a team of four can register for 40 EUR, and a team of eight for 80 EUR. The event encourages fun, games, activities, and plenty of gifts to keep the atmosphere lively.

All proceeds from this tournament will go towards supporting the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer (Krijesnica), an organisation dedicated to helping children in need.

“Our goal is to keep organising fundraisers to benefit children’s wellness and eventually reach out to our seniors community using pickleball as a tool to promote health and wellbeing,” said Kekoa Bauer, CEO and sponsor of the fundraiser.

They also have the support from ACAP, the Association of Croatian and American Professionals.  Dr Steven Pavletić will be playing pickleball, he has been promoting pickleball in Croatia for years.

The event is proudly sponsored by “Dinking for Children’s Wellness in Croatia,” highlighting its focus on making a positive impact.

“Having Domenika join us to our first fundraiser event “Dinking for Children’s Wellness in Croatia” is a huge honour,” Kekoa Bauer added.
