Best of Croatian Island Products on Show

A variety of top quality Food, cosmetic and souvenir products carrying the “Croatian Island Products” (Hrvatski Otočni Proizvod) approval label are part of the Croatian Island Products Fair going on in the capital Zagreb this week…

From 25-28 April 2016 on Zagreb’s main Ban Josip Jelačić square around 20 producers from the Croatian islands and the Pelješac peninsular will present a range of products at the fair, which is traditionally held twice a year.

219 producers in Croatia are part of the project, with 628 products carrying the “Croatian Island Products” (Hrvatski Otočni Proizvod) approval label from 23 Croatian islands ( (Brač, Hvar, Vis, Korčula, Pag, Krk, Lastovo, Dugi Otok, Rab, Cres, Lošinj, Prvić, Ugljan, Mljet, Šolta, Žirje, Pašman, Iž, Murter, Olib, Kornat, Rava, Silba and the Pelješac Peninsular).

The “Croatian Island Products” project is implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds with the intention of stimulating the islands in the production of original manufacturers and quality products.
