Bayern Munich Signs Partnership Agreement With Istria

Bayern Munich and Istria partner up

German football champions Bayern Munich has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Istria Tourist Board on Monday in Porec.

The agreement consists of seven points where mutual promotion is envisaged, and according to the contract, the Istria Tourist Board will have the opportunity to use three players to promote Istrian tourism. Some Bayern Munich teams will also come to Istria for their pre-season camps.

The Istria Tourist Board will also have the opportunity to advertise on Bayern Munich’s official website.

It is envisaged that at least one match between Bayern Munich veterans and local selections will be played in Istria.

The agreement was signed by Bayern Munich Management Board member and Marketing Director Andreas Jung with Istria County head Valter Flego, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board Kristjan Staničić and Director of the Istria Tourist Board Denis Ivosevic.

Bayern Munich’s first team is now coached by former Croatia captain and coach Niko Kovac.
