ATP Valencia: Ivan Dodig Beats Former World No.1

Croatian tennis player Ivan Dodig has set up a date in the quarter-finals against his fellow countryman Marin Cilic at the ATP tournament in Valencia, Spain, after beating former world number one Lleyton Hewitt 6:1, 3:6, 6:2.

Dodig too just over two hours to beat the Australian legend in what was the first match between the pair. Cilic progressed through to the quarter-finals after beating Spaniard Fernando Verdasco in straight sets 6:1, 6:4.

Cilic and Dodig, who play their quarter-final match on Friday, have never played an official ATP level match against each other before.
