Artistic talent of Zagreb’s international women’s club members on show at exhibition

The International Women’s Club Zagreb (IWCZ) has arranged an exceptional group exhibition called AH, which highlights the extensive artistic skills of its members who hail from different parts of the world. 

The AH exhibition is currently in its seventh year. This unique occasion is being graced by attendees from not only Croatia but also several other nations. 

Furthermore, the event showcases a variety of artistic styles that range from classic to contemporary and presents an excellent opportunity to appreciate art in all forms, including paintings, sculptures, digital works, photographs and installations. With so much creative diversity on display at the AH exhibit, it promises to be a remarkable experience for art enthusiasts of every age and origin.

The Hungarian Cultural Centre at Augusta Cesarca 10 is the host of the AH exhibition in 2023. This exhibition opened on March 22, 2023 and will continue until April 13, 2023.

Visiting hours are as follows:

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 to 16 
Fridays from 10 to 18
Saturdays only 25th March from 10 to 12

The AH exhibition this year has shown great success with 16 participants attending from 12 different countries. Participants came from all over the world, including America, Armenia, Australia, Chile Croatia, Korea Hungary Russia Slovakia South Africa, Türkiye and the United Kingdom. It is exciting to see so much variety of art being showcased in one place.

The success of the AH exhibition was largely due to the hard work and dedication of the AH Organizing Committee, consisting of Vesna Matic, Consuelo Palma, and Alina Gishyan.

These three individuals went above and beyond to make sure that every detail of the event was planned and executed flawlessly. They were assisted by a team of talented individuals, including Olga Berezina, Lan Le Thi Ngoc, and Alexandra (Sasha) Fabris, who provided invaluable support and contributions to the whole process. Special praise and applause are certainly well-deserved for this exceptional group of individuals.

It is truly remarkable to witness a heterogeneous gathering of artists collaborating to exhibit their distinctive viewpoints and skills. At the exposition, you’ll be able to submerge yourself in an assorted array of art mediums. You can relish paintings from up-and-coming artists, as well as those by established scholars. Additionally, you may peruse striking pottery, detailed drawings, enchanting photographs, and even pioneering pieces generated using AI technology. Irrespective of your age or artistic preferences – whether conventional or contemporary – there will certainly be something fascinating for you to admire at the AH 7 exhibition.
