Arsenal Not Giving Up Chase for Croatian Midfielder

brozovicMessi to Manchester City, Bale to Manchester United, Lovren to Scunthorpe United. The usual speculation that accompanies a transfer window in the English Premier League is no different this January. There may be a bit more ‘meat on the bone’ though with one speculation concerning Dinamo Zagreb’s Croatian international Marcelo Brozović…

Arsenal have reportedly shown interest in the defensive midfielder for a while now, with Sky Italy reporting now that the North London club have tabled another off for him. Respected sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, known for uncovering a number of transfers before they eventuate, says that Arsenal have offered Dinamo Zagreb between 7 and 9 million euros for Brozović.

The English media have also reported the bid for the 6-cap international. Dinamo’s boss Zdravko Mamić however could be looking for a bit more cash – 10 million euros is the number being splashed around.

Born in Zagreb, Brozović has appeared with Croatia in the under-18, under-19, under-20 and under-21 categories and made his debut for the senior team squad against Australia during preparations for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
