Argentina Coming To Zagreb To Play Croatia?

It has been reported in Croatian daily newspaper Jutarnji list that Lionel Messi and the rest of the Argentinian team will play a friendly match against Croatia next summer.

Tom Novak, an Argentinian with a Croatian background, heads up X Sports Worldwide and says that they have already held discussions with Croatia’s Tourism Ministry and will soon talk to the Croatian Football Federation President Davor Suker about the deal.

Novak expects Zagreb’s Mayor to sign a cooperation agreement with the Mayor of Buenos Aires early in 2013 which will see the two cities work closely on across a number of fields. The match, rumored to be played at Zagreb’s Maksimir Stadium, will be held in the summer of 2013.
