Andrea Andrassy Becomes the First Croatian on Comedy Central

CCCroatian stand-up comedian and radio host Andrea Andrassy has reason to celebrate after becoming the first Croatian woman to appear on global comedy channel Comedy Central recently…

The talented, young Zagreb resident, who performs her acts in both Croatian and English, has just returned from London where she spent time with stand-up comedy agency Mirth Control. Andrassy says the chance to film for Comedy Central was definitely one of the best moments of her career.

“Comedy Central is something which you dream about when you are a comedian,” said Andrea, adding that her big break came after successfully working with the comedy scene in Budapest, where she performed a few times in English.

Comedy Central is watched all over the world, with localised channels in Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Latin America, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Republic of Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Africa, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Approximately 97,838,000 American households (86.95% of households with television) receive Comedy Central. (pic: Facebook)
