Ana Konjuh on Verge of Australian Open

Konjuh, who is just 16-years of age, is a former winner of the Australian Open Junior singles and doubles event, and on Friday afternoon she booked her place in the last round of qualifying for the Grand Slam with a 6-2, 6-7, 6-4 win over France’s Mathilde Johansson in the second round.

Meanwhile Croatian players Ivan Dodig and Ivo Karlović have been drawn against each other in the first round of the Grand Slam which gets underway on Monday.
