DUBROVNIK, 7 October 2019 – The second season of Amazon Prime’s fantasy drama Carnival Row is set to begin shooting next month in Dubrovnik on the Croatian coast.

The first season of Carnival Row, which stars Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, premiered on Amazon Prime on 30 August and it has already been that Amazon had renewed it for a second season.

After the first season was filmed in Prague, the second season is set to start filming in Dubrovnik in November. Filming will take place over 10 days at two locations – in the Old Town and in Trsteno, Dubrovnik.net reports.

Carnival Row follows “mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population.” At the centre of the drama is the investigation into a string of unsolved murders, madness of power, unresolved love, and social adjustments eating away at whatever uneasy peace exists.
