All public transport services suspended in Croatia

ZAGREB, March 21 (Hina) – The national civil protection authority on Saturday decided to suspend all public transportation services, including transport by tram, for the next 30 days, and the decision goes into force on Sunday, March 22.

Considering that the use of public transportation increases risk of the novel coronavirus spreading, all such services will be suspended for the next 30 days.

The decision refers to public passenger transport by road within the country (except for taxi services), international public passenger transport by road, passenger transport by rail, tram and other city public transportation, as well as all other types of public transportation (such as funicular railway).

All railway and bus stations will be closed.
