Alice In Chains’ Jerry Cantrell set for Croatia debut

Zagreb, 21 January 2025 – Jerry Cantrell, the legendary guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter from the band Alice In Chains, is set to perform in Croatia for the very first time.

Cantrell will take the stage at Zagreb’s Tvornica Kulture on Tuesday, 10 June 2025.

A pivotal figure of the grunge era and a cornerstone of the alternative rock scene of the 1990s, Cantrell will treat fans to a mix of his acclaimed solo material and timeless Alice In Chains classics that have shaped rock music over the last 30 years.

Known for his distinctive voice, memorable riffs, and innovative yet grounded approach to rock, Cantrell’s music has influenced generations of musicians.

His impressive repertoire blends metal, rock, blues, and Americana, cementing his reputation as both a solo artist and a key member of Alice In Chains.

Since his critically acclaimed debut solo album, Boggy Depot, Cantrell has continued to evolve musically. Notable works include Degradation Trip Volumes 1 & 2, recorded with Metallica’s Robert Trujillo and Faith No More’s Mike Bordin, and 2021’s highly praised Brighten.

His latest album, I Want Blood, showcases his creative depth, combining raw power with haunting melodies in tracks like “Off the Rails,” “Afterglow,” and “Throw Me A Line.” Rolling Stone has hailed him as one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

Beyond his solo work and time with Alice In Chains, Cantrell has collaborated with renowned artists such as Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, and Deftones. He has also contributed to film soundtracks, including John Wick and Spiderman. With over 30 million albums sold and 11 Grammy nominations, Cantrell remains a rock icon, continuing to create music that resonates deeply with fans.

Tickets for the Zagreb show go on sale this Friday, 24 January, at 11:00 AM. Priced at €33, they will be available through the Core Event system, Dirty Old Shop, Rockmark, and Dallas Music Shop in Rijeka.
