Alen Halilovic Close To Spurs Deal?

The ‘will he’ or ‘won’t he’ sign for Tottenham Hotspur saga of Dinamo Zagreb’s teenage Croatian international Alen Halilovic may be drawing to a close. Croatian daily sports paper Sportske novosti have reported that the 17-year-old diminutive midfielder could be close to a deal with the north London club.

Spurs are reportedly ready to part with 15 million EUR for Halilovic, an offer Dinamo Zagreb will not likely turn down. There were rumours in the media last week that Dinamo Zagreb’s CEO Zdravko Mamic flew to Dubrovnik to meet with Spurs President Daniel Levy.

Halilovic’s family, who initially were not happy with Tottenham’s original offer, have stayed in the UK after watching Alen’s brother claim the U-15 Nike Premier Cup in Manchester with Dinamo Zagreb.
