From November 28, 2019, till January 1, 2020, Strossmayer Square in Zagreb will host around thirty restaurants and creative bars offering delicious flavours from all over the world prepared by experienced chefs as well as food enthusiasts as Fuliranje comes to town again.

“Eight is the number of success and based on the fact that we already had seven successful Fuliranje events at Zagreb Advent, we believe that the eighth edition will equally delight all visitors who stop by to ‘gourmingle,” organisers said.

If your are interested in Istrian specialities, such as succulent ‘ombolo’ or Istrian homemade sausages, you can hang around Fermaj Tovara, B.A.B. Piantina and Vodnjanka food houses.

However, if you prefer Dalmatian specialities, you can enjoy traditional Croatian spit-roasted lamb at Opat from Kornati island. There are two more Croatian island experiences, Biomania, the first organic street food who were extremely popular during the summer season at Zlatni rat in Bol on the island of Brac, and Black Pepper, a crew which comes from the island of Hvar and who are bringing their invigorated, powerful dishes flavoured with southern temperament.

Besides their famous street ‘sarma’, Market by T&T will surprise visitors with new twists of traditional dishes. El Toro remains authentic offering their Latin American passionate flavours. Wurst Bar and Berlin, as well as the Institut za kobasice by Mate Janković (Sausage Institute by Mate Janković), promises you juicy, fragrant and everything but ordinary sausages.

Rougemarin and Submarine, who have long been synonymous for excellent street food delicacies, are back also.

You’ll be singing ‘Let it snow, let it snow’ while diving in to snowy German dumplings at Sljeme winter house. If you don’t want to experiment, but want to enjoy tasty, high quality ‘usuals’, then Čiketina brings various variations of chicken. Let it fry, let it fry! Munchy is waiting for you with fried salty-sweet wraps.

The Garden Bar & Kitchen has opted for a delicious mix, from smoked pork hocks to beyond hot dogs for all veggie fans. Of course, other winter houses at Fuliranje will have a range of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

The world-famous TasteAtlas arrives at Fuliranje for the first time and they will present scents and flavours of Italy and Portugal at Pastel de TasteAtlas. Lumperaj is cooking something sweet & salty, as well as Mason Burgers & Staff and GoodFood who’s surprises will blow your mind, as always.

Bagua invites you to “pull them by the tail” or grab their Granular ciabatta. Kikkoman and Tabasco will make sure that the salty treats have an even richer flavour, but first Coffee Illy will make sure we all have enough caffeine in our bloodstreams.

You can take a break from the food by popping in to Samsung Holiday House or capture your magic moments at Fuliranje at one of the photo points at Jamnica, Radio 101 or at the many other spots.

There will be a range of interesting beverages will served by Coca-Cola, Gin3 Spirits, Gingle Bells, Rakijarnica, Molekular bar by Mangosta and A most unusual gin garden by Botanica, whilst Jerusalem Ormož will take care of all sorts of mulled and fresh wine options. Fuliranje traditionally has its trademark beer festival, which you can try only at Stross Square, special delivery brewed by The Garden Brewery.

Mini and maxi fritters, cakes, churros, floating islands, trdelnik or ‘chimney cake’, fruity and chocolate dumplings are only some of the sweets and treats you can find at Sweet Lair prepared by Le Kolač, Nonina tajna, Trdelnik and Chiquita Churrosita.

You can also bring your four-legged hairy friends to the Capa pet Bistro.
