PHOTOS: Ema Helena Vičar crowned new Miss World Croatia

Ema Helena Vičar from Zagreb has been crowned the 30th Miss World Croatia, earning the honour of representing Croatia at the 73rd Miss World competition next spring.

The 23-year-old was announced as the winner during a final evening tonight, where Jana Biondić, 18, from the Lika-Senj County, was named the first runner-up.

Ema Helena currently lives in Monaco, where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Luxury Brand Management at the International University of Monaco.

She previously completed her studies in International Business at Libertas University and in Public Relations and Digital Marketing at Experta Business School.

An entrepreneur and founder of her own sustainable fashion brand, Ema Helena is passionate about combining aesthetics, responsibility and innovation.

She is also active in entrepreneurial and volunteer clubs, participating in projects promoting social responsibility. A former dancer and gymnast, she continues to practise pilates and cheerleading.

“My goal is to motivate young women to believe in themselves, invest in knowledge, and remain authentic despite outside pressures,” she said following her coronation.

The competition’s selection process included six key categories: interview, sport, talent, top model, head-to-head challenge, and multimedia.

Finalists were chosen based on their performances in these areas during preparations held in Ivanić-Grad and Zagreb.

One of the most captivating moments of the evening was the presentation of traditional Croatian folk costumes. Each contestant proudly showcased the heritage of her region through intricate embroidery, lace, and handmade details.

The final, hosted by Davor Garić, featured performances by Baruni and Sandi Cenov, who premiered his new song “Zadnja.” Among the guests were several former Miss Croatia titleholders.

Ema Helena now begins her preparations for Miss World 2026, where she will represent Croatia’s beauty, culture, and tradition on the global stage, embodying the message that true beauty lies in knowledge, character, and love for one’s country.
