8 Croatian restaurants offering stunning views every bite

Vidilica – Split

Croatia’s beautiful natural landscape up and down the country means there are plenty of opportunities to dine and enjoy an amazing view. 

Usually, restaurants with spectacular views mean sky-high prices but that does not have to always be the case. 

Whilst it is almost impossible to single out the best restaurants with views, Journal.hr selected a few of the most popular on the Croatian coast.

Nautika – Dubrovnik

Nautika Restaurant lies on the very edge of the sea at Pile, alongside the western entrance to Dubrovnik’s Old City.

Restaurant 360 – Dubrovnik

Set inside Dubrovnik walls, above the port, surrounded by beautiful architecture, Restaurant 360 is famous for its Mediterranean specialties and recently was awarded a Michelin Star.

Panorama – Dubrovnik

Panorama Restaurant perches on the highest point of Mount Srd, which provides a bird’s eye view of Dubrovnik area and surrounding sea. Here you can watch the sunset melt over the seemingly endless Adriatic horizon while having a cocktail or treating yourself to dinner or lunch.

Panorama – Makarska

Located on Veliko Brdo on the slopes of the Biokovo mountain in Makarska, Panorama offers a spectacular view, especially at sunset.

Vidilica – Split

Vidilica is the most ideal place in Split if dining with a view is what you are looking for. The sky, the light breeze, the sea and the contours of beautiful Split below will make you feel like you are amongst the clouds.

Pelegrini – Šibenik

Pelegrini is settled in the middle of the historical town of Šibenik, offering a beautiful view over the UNESCO-protected St. Jacobs Cathedral. The restaurant has been named the Best in Croatia for the last 3 years and has a Michelin Star.

Draga di Lovrana is a place of mysterious stories and enchanting views. The hotel and restaurant are located on the edge of the reef, so the combination of the island and the sea creates a particularly beautiful feeling, and the view is fascinating.
