A 60 kilogram packet was found in Nozdra bay on the small island Kaprije near Šibenik, whilst a few days later 4 packets containing a total of 20 kilograms was found at a beach near Trogir by locals, reports daily Slobodna Dalmacija. The report suggests that the marijuana was on its way to Italy from Albania, and thrown ‘overboard’ in Croatian waters after the transporters spotted Marine Police. A lot of drugs found in the south of Italy come directly from Albania.
