7,200 Tourists Along The Makarska Riviera

More than 7,200 tourists will occupy hotels along Dalmatia’s Makarska Riviera during the May Day holiday this week as tourists connect Wednesday’s public holiday with the weekend.

Hoteliers along the Riviera are happy with the numbers and will see 20% more guests at their hotels than during the same holiday last year. Most of the foreign tourists will stay in Makarska, followed by the towns of Tucepi, Brela, Baska Voda, Podgora, Zivogosce and Gradac.

Hoteliers say that there are early signs that this year’s tourist pre-season could be better than last year.
