65% Think Croatia Heading In The Wrong Direction

65% of Croatia’s citizens think that the country is heading in the wrong direction, whilst 25% believe the opposite, according to the latest Crobarometar poll, reports Dnevnik.hr.

The optimism when the current Zoran Milanovic led Kukuriku coalition took over power a year ago has continued to wane in the last 6 months. When Milanovic took over power 50% of citizens thought Croatia was heading in the right direction, exactly half think the same today.

Milanovic’s popularity with the people has dropped since his arrival to power, but so also has that of Tomislav Karamarko, leader of opposition party the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).
