Preparations are underway for the 53rd edition of the international garden show ‘Floraart’ at Zagreb’s Bundek Park.
From 28 May – 3 June more than 200 Croatian and international exhibitors will display flowers, cacti, substrates and seeds, machinery, gardening equipment and more over 300,00m2 outdoor and 2,000m2 indoor space.
As well as sales of flowers and seedlings, this year there will be interesting lectures and workshops, music, performances, and competitions such as the traditional Croatian Florist Cup, the Best Home in Zagreb, and the Best High School Students in Flower Arrangement competition.
Over 150,000 seedlings will be planted around Zagreb in preparation for the show which will add some beauty to parts of Zagreb including Gric tunnel, monuments and Zagreb funicular.
The show, organised by Zagreb Grad and Zrinjevac, is the largest flower show in this part of Europe with more than 350,000 people visiting last year’s show.
