350 of the world’s best young bridge players are in the Croatian coastal town of Opatija for the 4th World Youth Open Bridge Championships…

Organised by the World Bridge Federation in cooperation with the Croatian Bridge Federation & Opatija Bridge Association, the championships is being held at Opatija’s Milenij Grand Hotel until 29 August.

It is not the first time that the town of Opatija has hosted the event. Opatija was host of the 2nd World Youth Open Bridge Championships in 2011, and has also hosted several other world and European events, including the 2014 European Teams Championship and the 2014 University World Championship.

Also next month Pula will host one of the biggest European bridge tournaments. Players from over 40 countries will take part at the 54th Pula Bridge International from 4-16 September.
