Theatres came alive last night in Croatia as more than 45,000 people filled theatres around the country as the manifesto “European Theatre Night” was held for the third consecutive year.

On the evening, which is each year dedicated to the dramatic and performing arts, 83 cultural institutions in 31 towns in Croatia celebrated European Theatre Night. Theatre goers had the opportunity to enjoy a full programme which included exhibitions, concerts and plays, along with traditional cooked wine.

Organisers proclaimed this year’s “Theatre Night” as a huge success with more than 10,000 people working on the event, they have promised that the tradition will continue again next year.
