+40˚C Forecast As Heat Wave Ready To Hit Croatia

A serious heat wave is on its way to Croatia. Temperatures above 40 degrees celsius are forecast for next week, and the Ministry of Health is warning citizens to take care, hydrate, and stay out of the sun during the peak hours of the day.

Temperatures will soar this weekend with 35 degrees celsius plus in the shade forecast for much of the country, but the worst will hit on Monday. Many are expected to seek relief on the Adriatic coast this weekend, and motorists are urged to take care and keep hydrated when travelling in hot cars with traffic delays expected.
