350,000 Flock to Museum Night in Croatia

2014 was a record year for visitor numbers the Croatian Museum Association’s (HMD) said on Saturday with Friday’s theme being ‘cultural heritage conservation through sustainable development’.  Museums, galleries and other institutions throughout Croatia opened their doors for free and also additional entertainment programmes, such as concerts, film screenings, workshops, and talks with artists.  The first Museum Night started in 2005 when six museums partook.
